FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions about Life Coaching
What is the difference between counseling and coaching?
Counseling and coaching differ in two distinct areas: 1). Counseling aims to solve problems by understanding what happened in the past. Coaching is almost exclusively future focused, and, 2). Counselors give advice, coaches do not. Instead, they use various techniques and creative information to facilitate an individual finding and creating the best version of himself or herself.
Is coaching like mentoring?
Mentoring has similar elements of coaching but differs in that the mentor also offers guidance based on the experience. So, think of it as if you were told what to do or how to do something. That’s not coaching, that’s mentoring or training.
How does coaching work?
Coaching is a process. It evolves uniquely over time with each person, meeting you right where you are, and moving you forward with future-focused coaching.
Is coaching for me?
If you want to change and create new habits and goals that are future focused, then yes, life coaching is absolutely for you! Whether it is changing or creating habits, becoming healthier, behavior improvement, work-life balance, career change, improving your relationships, or being more creative, if you’re ready to take the steps to achieve your goals, then you will most certainly benefit from utilizing a life coach.
How long will I need to work with a coach?
That depends on where you are, where you want to go, and how quickly you want to achieve your goal(s). Some people are able to achieve their goals in 3 to 6 months. Some people stay with their coach anywhere from six months to five years. It all depends on your personal goals and your comfort level in attaining them.
How do you coach?
Coaching is a meditative practice for me. I use our sessions as an opportunity to quiet my mind completely so that I can calmly listen to exactly what you are saying. I listen with clarity and without judgment.
Where are your clients based?
My clients may reside anywhere in the world. I offer life coaching using modern technology, so, the only requirement is the English language. Some of my current clients reside in Florida, Michigan, Chicago, Wisconsin, California, and New York. Most remote sessions are conducted using Zoom, email, and text. I am also available to travel worldwide for coaching projects when needed.
How do I pay?

What is an Onboarding Session?
An onboarding session is a great opportunity to get to know each other better and discuss your needs and expectations. It's a chance for us to understand your goals and how we can best support you. During the session, we will go over everything you need to know to get started and answer any questions you may have. We want to ensure that you feel comfortable and confident as you begin your journey with us.
What are your fees?
